This is a long-term contract position for one of the top tech companies in the Bay Area with benefits such as medical, dental, vision insurance, 401k package, pre-tax commuter benefits, paid holidays, short and long term disability and life insurance, etc.

ABOUT THE POSITION

• As an Autonomous Vehicle Operators, you will be at the forefront of turning our vision into reality.

• Your role will be to always drive Vehicle Safely, Maintain Vehicle Readiness, complete SOFTWARE and HARDWARE TESTING, and represent as a Brand Ambassador to the public.

• You will assist and interact with multiple teams across the company, from computer vision, infrastructure, and sound design to strategy, vehicle engineering, and ride operations. We are looking for DRIVERS who are safety focused, disciplined, team players, and believe in doing whatever it takes to accomplish the mission.

SHIFT HOURS, SCHEDULES, AND STARTING SALARY
The base pay for San Francisco is $29/hr.
Day shifts earn an extra 5% an hour on weekends.
Night shifts starting after 1pm earn an extra 5% on weekdays and 7% on weekends.
Overnight shifts starting after 8pm earn an extra 7.5% on weekdays and 10% on weekends.

• Overnight shift: 11.45pm - 8.15am: top priority.

• Day shift: 5.45am-2.15pm, 6.45am-3.15pm, or 7:45am-4:15pm.

• Night shift: 1.45pm-10.15pm, 2.45pm-11.15pm, 3:45pm-12:15am, or 5.45pm-2.15am.

• Work day schedule: Wed-Sun, Thurs-Mon, Fri-Tues, or Sat-Wed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to type a min of 45wpm.

• Must be Tech savvy and have the ability to learn quickly.

• Must be able to clear a background & drug screen.

• Must have a clear DMV - 1 point may be ok. if any points pls advise immediately.

• Must have a min of 3 consecutive years of driving exp with valid driver’s license. No gaps within the 3 years. Proof will be requested.

RESPONSIBILITIES
We are currently hiring for Autonomous Vehicle Operators to work during our swing and day shifts.
This position will consist of two parts: driving and data collection.

• Support vehicle operations.

• Drive 4-8 hours a day with a priority on safety.

• Conduct basic software operation tasks.

• Support missions through a wide variety of roles in and out of vehicles.

• Assist with documentation and metrics.

• Provide accurate written and oral feedback to engineering teams.

• Support vehicle maintenance and logistics.

• Conduct daily basic vehicle preventative maintenance checks, services, and repairs.

• Provide logistical support for the movement and storage of vehicles and equipment.

• Ensure the readiness and cleanliness of vehicles, equipment, and the workplace.

• Assist with paperwork and documentation.
